Re: Tucan Removers, Fuengirola or Murray Harper

We ended up using Murray Harper and I have to say that the actual removal went very well. Our possessions were packed very professionally and they arrived bang on time and, with one or two minor exceptions, undamaged. However I found Matthew Murray a nightmare to deal with and would recommend that a...

Tucan Removers, Fuengirola or Murray Harper

Some while ago Katy recommended Tucan Removers. Has anyone any recent experience with them, please?

Several members have recommended Murray Harper in the past. Again, does anyone have any recent experience?

Thanks,

Malaga Airport Parking

Has anyone used ChipsAway Parking at Malaga Airport recently? Would you recommend them?

Another "plus" with the Nationwide FlexAccount Debit Card, which someone pointed out in another thread, is that if you have a Spanish bank account you can use the card in your Spanish bank to transfer funds from your UK account to your Spanish one with no fees whatsoever (and you get the i...

I doubt you'll find El Castel on the web - most of their advertising is through leaflets on cars! Unfortunately I haven't got one to hand - and the ones outside will be too wet to read :!: - but you'll find the place about halfway between Estepona and Sabinillas, slightly set back on the left hand s...

Blimey, Beach, that was quick! :)

The transfer was dealt with by the dealer we bought the car from. I'll do as you suggest and see what happens.

Thanks,

Car Tax - "Impuesto Municipal"

My Other Half has recently bought a used car; according to the paperwork it was registered in Malaga. We live in Manilva. Do we have to go to Malaga to pay this year's car tax? If so, does anyone know where, please?

The problem with roundabouts is that the Spanish give you no clue as to which exit they're going to take. Some of them go all the way round the outside, others go to the inside and then cut across your bows when you least expect it! I'm surprised the manufacturers fit indicators to cars in Spain; if...

Caravan/Camping accessories

Does anyone know of any camping/caravan/motorhome accessory retailers, preferably near the CDS? I've looked in Yellow Pages but there don't seem to be any in there.

It's not a problem - several Spanish companies will insure UK-reg vehicles, as will Ibex who are based in Gib but have agents along the coast. Try Abbeygate Insurance.
