Re: changing details in dog microchip

Chip details cannot be changed. I think I paid 18 euros to have the new owners details registered at the local vets.

Re: Pool Solar Cover

Many moons ago my late husband bought one from Deep Blue Pools, Alhaurin el Grande. It was Australian, came with a 10 year guarantee. I have no recollection of the price. It was the type with a roller shown on their home page.

Great time to say you are going on strike as more pressure to settle. Most likely strike cancelled pre the date as they are in talks.

If you know of anyone selling Forever Living products in your area then try their Aloe Heat Lotion.

Re: Ryanair landings

I have used them for years, they fly to and from where I want. I have had a few "heavy" landings in all the years. I remember a heavy thud landing after a long time circling then what seems like a vertical drop going into Edinburgh. Don't like either part of that experience. Part and parce...

Re: Burning Eucalyptus

Many years ago when I had my wood burner it was recommended if you wanted to burn eucalyptus then first make sure your chimney is clean and complete. Season the logs for a minimum of 2 years then hope ! Basically our log man was not in favour of it at all.

I love and miss Sevilla, I lived on the outskirts for years and loved any time spent wandering in the town. I plan to take a break there next year. Thank you for your lovely post.

Re: Spain isnt cheap

I eat very little meat and have small portions, food for me is much cheaper in Spain. Eating out much cheaper for me too. Electric seems more expensive in Spain. I.B.I bill for 4 bed house with large garden and swimming pool in Spain is about the same as for a modern 2 bed apartment in Scotland with...

Re: Campervan, aires and extended insurance.

Can't help with insurance, Aires are French not seen anything like them in Spain. Spanish laybys are mostly dire, no services and no shelter. When we did Santander ferry we lived west side of Sevilla so came down Valladolid, Salamanca, Sevilla. From there you could go Granada route.

Re: Driving down UK to Spain.

I use booking dot com for my pet friendly hotels. Remember to fill in your choices on the left hand side. I choose parking, Wi-Fi and pet friendly. Ibis Styles I find good, the lower end of their market dire.

Re: Ryanair checked luggage anamoly

Years ago when I regularly flew from Spanish airports ( not with Ryanair) 99% of the oversized baggage belonged to the Spaniards. Back then every bag was checked for size and weight, the fuss the Spanish kicked up was unbelievable, A Japanese lady was brilliant when she was told hers was to big, she...

Re: Ryanair checked luggage anamoly

The luggage cost is my one bug bear with Ryanair. I have been flying with them regularly and have had no bother what so ever, seldom book a seat, no 'other queue' scrums people mention and only one slight delay on departure of a flight. I often let them add my hand luggage to the hold luggage free o...
