Re: Medical Records

Asked my doctor at the medical centre but she said there wasn´t enough space on her computer to keep things like xrays. Perhaps I will have to go to the hospital and see if I can get a copy from them. Thanks everyone for your input.

Medical Records

Can anyone tell me if I can get a copy of my medical records, xrays and the like, while living in Spain. If so where do I go to apply for this. Thanks.

Re: FILMON

Thanks for all the help and replies. I've bitten the bullet and paid more for 5Mb and so far the programmes on Filmon have been fine to watch. Will have to see what it is like on a Sunday evening which seems to be the worst time of the week for downloads. The only thing now is you have to watch the ...

Re: FILMON

Hiya All I've had a number of direct messages on this topic and am very grateful to the three members who took the time to give me advice. I'm looking at all the options. Thank you. For the moment when streaming programmes from Filmon I start them going and then pause them, it allows my slow interne...

Re: Computer

I bought my computer from Eroski. When I set it up, it asked if I wanted English or Spanish I chose English and there has not been any problems. Customer service at Eroski has always seemed pretty good but touch wood I've had no problems, even got the Windows 10 free upgrade working OK.

Re: FILMON

Thanks for your reply. We are on wifi but up a mountain near Antequera and local suppliers are thin on the ground unless you are prepared to pay a premium price. Filmon meant we could record and download at our leisure. Who do you use and how much does it cost

FILMON

I have just been informed by Filmon that we can no longer download programmes, we can only watch them on the computer but here in the campo we only have 1Meg download speed so expect buffering. We will see what it is like this evening. Is there any other source of downloading programmes?

Re: What do the Spanish think about a Brexit?

I am not politically minded but I have yet to see what good the EU has done for Britain apart from free trade which is what the first referendum was supposed to be about not a union with an ever increasing membership. When the EU was small with roughly equal economic members everything seemed okay b...

Re: Earthquake

Yes. I live up near Antequera and woke up at 5.22 with the bed shaking and the door rattling. Lasted about 15 seconds and then a small tremor straight after. Anyone know where the epicentre was?

Selling my house?

IF I was to sell my house and buy another property for the same money in another EEA country would I have to pay Capital Gains Tax in Spain?

Re: £1.7bn EU demand

What everyone seems to have forgotten is that from 1st November 2014 there were 43 EU rules changed. It is no longer one vote one country in the EU but now goes of population of countries so Germany and France together could veto any argument. UK wouldn´t stand a chance and Cameron has known this wa...

Re: Hello and property search help please

My friend has a lovely house about 30 minutes inland from Malaga with spectacular views across countryside to the sea. Unfortunately he has had a mild heart attack and feels he would be better living in a villiage or town. His son has made him a web site http://www.spainhousesale.com it might not be...

Re: UK Winter Fuel Payment

Hi Gerry I´ve lived here 11 years and even paid voluntery contributions while in Spain and I wasn´t in prison or hospital in September. How can someone who has lived in Holland for the past 30 years get it and I can´t. Its not so much that they have refused me the WFA though it would be gratefully r...

Re: UK Winter Fuel Payment

I sent my form and birth certificate soon after the EU directive came out. I received by Berth cert. back saying my claim was being processed and then nothing. Chased them up on the internet and this week received a letter saying I had no genuine connection to the UK and would not be getting the WFA...
