They have to be preincluded etc. And when folk haven't done it, I have seen them pulled to the side and told how to do it. I think it is an extra cost. But I don't...

Re: Neighbours Blocking off our Drains
Round for a glass of wine with potentially affected neighbours - good idea. 90 Year old's rellies leaning on him - also good idea. Happened to me in my village in Italy. Heavy weight builders who were all related and doing some other work for me ' leaned'. Upshot was that I got to share his 'put' an...

Welcome Gadimericano. Sorry I do not have an answer for you but you will surely hear from others shortly.
I take it you are aware that Grazelama is one of the rainiest places in Andalucía?
Good luck
Maureen

Guys, I think GerryFelch has a point. Ignore. She appears to thrive on disharmony. At least Katy believes in equal treatment. She is extremely rude to everybody
Re: update
The 16 year olds in Scotland got the vote for the referendum. Totally engaged, breath of fresh air re-stimulated, the oldies, very knowlegable and made extra efforts to learn. The whole country became engaged, young, old, on both sides. 2 years of it. They proved wrong the ones who said 'they know n...

Lovely place, lots of amenities, on the Via Verde route. My sister has a house in the next village of Pruna. Very friendly locals, all amenities, great builder's merchants who are very helpful. She has had lots of work done and has really integrated with the locals. In the early days when she had to...

Have been watching new series 'A New Life in the Sun' channel 4 UK. About various folk coming to start businesses, life coach, diving, sailing etc in France and Spain. Going through the first year. There was one couple opened a fine dining in Mijas called the Mandril. Also another much cheaper on Fu...

Good info on this post. Is Rute a place where it would be ok to stay? I am coming over on holiday and will visit various places. But I would like to base myself in a larger town for a change

You are right Flyeogh. What is the general consenus of preference round your area? And what is the preference in general in Andalucía. I would imagine that there may be vast differences in regions. But maybe not?

Because we have a thread that started off asking about political uncertainty, then drifted to independence, then Nationalism and various ones about Spanish politics, EU Brexit, comments about Scottish Referendum and a whole load more besides.

Re: Spain political uncertainty
I was a life long Labour supporter and not very fond of the type of negative nationalism that I had seen in some countries in recent history. So not a natural SNP supporter. But a few years ago, I realised that in my 60odd years on this planet, Scotland had voted overwhelmingly for one party over an...

Re: Family wishing to relocate/Where to buy?
There are some in areas which are about one and a half hours from Malaga Airport. May be a bit closer to Jerez and Sevilla airports. They are further inland in Seville/Cadiz regions. For example, Pruna and Olvera have very good town hall policies and round the clock urgencias. Very prompt. There is ...

Hi Truebrit and everyone else. I was thinking of staying for a few days in Velez-Malaga when I come over for a fortnight in September. What are the areas to avoid? Thank you.
