as a regular user parking charges have definatly gone up a lot for short term parking this month. begining Feb usual 50 cents approx to do my drop off and pick up, a quick pop in to newsagents, this weekend just gone up to a whooping 2 euros and 45 cents!!!!!!!! uk voluntary NI contributions

I am sure that this has been addressed beofre, but I can not find the information. I work as selfemployed in UK paying tax and NI annually, do I need to keep paying my voluntary contibutions of 26 pounds per quarter?

On a flying visit to the UK I might need to hire a car (seems cheaper than the train fare?) When I show them Spanish licence will that affect the price quoted? If so what price difference can I expect? Has anyone experienced this?

We have a failrly large 'garage' approx 80sq.m. it has never been registered, according to the locals its about 40yrs old. Is it possible to register it now? What would the implications be, any idea of approx cost etc..
