Re: Finding a will . . . . . . . .

Our community Abogado has said we need my mothers passport. We dont have one as she died at age 98 and it had expired years earlier and was destroyed. Also needed is her death cert (translated into Spanish) from Ireland. So lets see how this goes . . . . . .

Re: Topless in Marbella and Puerto Banus

I reckon this is aimed at the Hen/Stag groups. These groups have cased problems in Dublin so I can understand the Marbella Town Hall's new rules.

Finding a will . . . . . . . .

If someone has made a will in Spain with a solicitor......... Can it be traced ? Is there a central register ? I need to see if my relative left a Spanish will. Thanks.

A good friend of mine always said "If you want a view then buy it" in other words if there is an empty field in front of you then buy it.

Re: Where would you advertise house sale.

Get a pay as you go phone and use that number to take calls. As said above at least anyone calling it will have seen it's location. DOn't be afraid of selling without an agent, you don't need one. Put up the Se Vende sign.

Re: Where would you advertise house sale.

Hi Marios, last year I decided to sell and listed my property with Premier Marbella. I've known the owner Patrick since 1993 and he's a really good agent and an honest guy. All the agents use an aggregator site (it scrapes all their ads onto one site ) so you have all properties on the CDS listed by...

Re: Keeping a pet. EU Directive ? ?

In our community in Spain the house rules say no dogs. But we have relaxed this as long as the dogs are kept on a lead and dont bark all the time (cause annoyance) and don't do their business on the grass . I had heard the EU were passing a directive that would make it a human right to have a pet.

Keeping a pet. EU Directive ? ?

Not in Spain but has anyone heard about an EU Directive that would over ride community rules on keeping a pet ? In our community in Spain someone mentioned that it "could" be against EU laws to stop someone having a pet. All comments welcome. Thanks.

My wife is an "offshore member" :-) of Quilters del Sol and has really enjoyed meeting the resident members when we are out there. I guess they will snap your arm off when they get the offer of the material. Sorry for you loss Spanish lad, I lost my mother in November aged 97 and I still t...

Re: Removal of furniture from fourth floor apartment

I have seen all sorts of large items being put into flats in Loja by a mobile lift. Clever bit of kit presumably owned by the local dept store or rented for the occasion. they look like a giant fire ladder and the platform moves up the frame. Might be worth asking at the local dept store. Here you ...
