Are they very strict on the white / red striped boards ? The bike will only hang a few inches from rear of car. He arrives tomoeeow morning and stupidly did not mention this till tonight. :roll:

My mate wants to bring his bike to spain. He has a bike carrier that hangs off the back of the car. Any problems with us ?

We drove to the Hurricane hotel in Tarifa so the kids could horse ride. I know its a long way but they saw wild boar and pelicans while riding in the countryside. We (mom & dad) had great lunch in their beach bar.

In El Pilar (near Bena Vista cr) there is a french restaurant doing a €15 special including a bottle of wine per couple. Really good value and food. But book a table. What price range do you want ? In Estepona "Robbies" is expensive. But there are lots of good Italian eating places as well...

Buy a garmin gps. My wife has no sense of direction but always finds her way home with the garmin :mrgreen: :mrgreen: . You can pick one up secondhand for €100 ish.

Anyone here using the A7 into san pedro de alcantara towards marbella ? Im curious as to how bad it is since the "tunnell" works started. All info appreciated as I arrive there next monday and need to start planning detours etc.

Its a good idea for sims being registered. In Ireland anyone can buy sims without ID. So criminals buy lots of them and change every few days....... much harder for police to track and monitor.
