Re: Velez malaga axarquia hospital MRI

Up from the main road from Dia% towards hospital. Turn off left before you hit the car park entrance and it's down the bottom on the right. Not sure which road it is but it's a couple from the car park. Graham

Re: Energy costs

I know this forum is for andalucia residents and owners and I used to live in the Axarquia so I think I may still comment. We moved to Mallorca last June into a small terraced house in Felanitx. We have electric oven, boiler and two a/c units. I was expecting our electricity bills to be high. In 12 ...

LED lighting strips

Any recommendations? There seems to be a myriad of different kits and manufacturers. I'm looking for a kit for ambient lighting in my living room. I would like a system giving all the colours and also white light. They need not be waterproof but dimmable. And any comments on use of the connectors fo...

Re: Renta 2016

Gerry - two things. Firstly can you rerun the programme using different settings? To decide if it's more economical to present a joint or two single declarations? And secondly can you remind me what the official exchange rate is for 2016?
Thanks Graham

Back operation

My wife needs a second operation on her spine. She had the first one done in the UK many moons ago. She has seen the specialist in Velez Malaga hospital and also in Carlos Haya hospital. It was agreed that they would operate. She has a copy of the signed document. That was 2 years ago. A year ago sh...

DGT

Yesterday I received an aviso in my email from DGT. They invite me to click on a link to read the notification. However that just takes me to a DGT website page that is in spanish but says I need either a digital certificate or Clave to read the notification. Gives me 10 days in which to reply - or ...

Re: Best TV

Thanks Sid - what you recommend makes a lot of sense. I'm not into catch-up but I'll still look at Samsung, non 3D , flat and 4K. Graham

Continuing health care

I have a dilemma. My wife and I are moving very soon from andalucia to mallorca. We are both in the spanish health care system and have long term medical situations eg treatment for diabetes and hypertension. That is no problem. But the real problem is that we both have ongoing short-term medical si...
