Hi, Do Marks and Spencer still have a store in gibraltar? They do have quite a good selection,i believe. On the subject of Zara, i have the same problem, a size 14 is more like a size 10 as far as fitting me is concerned! This is the female kexon by the way, must get my own name sorted!!Corte ingles do have nice clothes, but pretty hefty prices!Sorry I cant be more helpful

Hi Kexon...Yes,M&S are in Gib still,Next is there now too!

When i go into zara to "shop"-generally for handbags and shoes(only things that fit)I always look at the girls that are purchasing items from the shop..there are petite girls/ladies,and then there are chunky ones(y·know-the ones that look like they have backs like rolled /stringed joints of pork, with too tight tops on)
I always chuckle when i see the larger girls,as i think -they are far bigger than me,and i cant find anything to fit me in here...they purchase clothes that are far too tight for them, and that is why they shop and actually buy something in the damn shop!!!
Me,personally,i dont think that zara actually caters for real women with curves, and thats why i come out with nothing!
Some of the stuff-wouldnt even get my head through to get it on...!!!

valL-Have you thought about Eb@y..
Myself and my husband have had some georgous footwear and clothing from there.. :D
lots of things on there too that are brand new-with tags still on and still in the shops.perhaps type in your fav shop brand-(where you know the clothes will fit you),and see what comes up.
just a thought

Dresses

Try these web sites they all deliver to Spain I have used them all for my shop.
They are all in USA so the prices are in dollars so half what you see for the price in pounds all I would suggest is that you get a couple of you together as most of them charge the same for postage be it one dress or 6

www.formalkids.com(They do lovely evening dresses)
www.shopshop.com
www.ceriwholsale.com

they are wholesale but you dont have to order loads if you want just one dress then thats fine.
Happy shopping :D

I wish you luck VaIl. I am on the other side of the fence. being only 5´2" (nearly) and UK size 4 i have major trouble finding womens clothes to fit!! i end up in the Zara Kids or equivalent buying something in age 12!!!

I was bridesmaid at my sisters wedding in Ireland last month and was so pleased i had a bridesmaid dress to wear for the day instead of having to find something to wear. ..only to be told that Irish weddings go for for the next 2 days, so i spent many days trawling the shops in Seville, only to go back to Zara as absolutely nothing fit. (why are the womens jeans here soooo long when most spanish women are short also??)

I wish you luck with your purchases. Maybe buy some of the fabulous material around and get someone to make your outfit?

Thanks for all the suggestions :D

We tried the factory place tonight :( in the shops that had anything I remotely liked sizes only to 46 in one shop they advertise sizes 20 to 70 or something URGHHHHH ghastly and I only saw sizes from 50 upwards !

I will look at the other sites tonight or tomorrow, spanish homework allowing.

How about a spray can of sparkly paint?

Would volunteer to apply it but not sure if I could guarantee a straight hemline.

C&A stuff is awful, looks like a second-hand clothes shop.
