Knitting needles please ?

Postby scotty » Sun May 24, 2009 8:58 pm

As per title. Arrive 1/6/09 and swmbo wants to buy knitting needles as i assume they are now classed as weapons of mass destruction by airlines. Anyone know where i can get them in Estepona or san pedro ? Thanks.

Can you not put them in your suitcase then ?

I saw some in my local chinese bazaar shop (or was it the indian bazaar shop  ) which is the size of a supermarket !- it's too far away for you (near Antequera !) but have you got anything similar near you ? These places tend to sell everything up to & (sometimes !) including the kitchen sink :D

She could have posted them last week when I told her to 8) . So thats one way. We dont travel with luggage as everything is in our apartment so cant fly with them. The funny side of this is that my mates a pilot with are lingus and says that they still allow pencils on board   which when sharpened are a very dangerous weapon. Ah well it looks like no clicking needles for three weeks in june then    .

The needles in the bazaar are very long as they have a different style of knitting here. Corte Ingles is a good source for knitting/sewing stuff. As a ´new to knitting addict´ I can understand the desire for needles :D

It's nearly the same if you knit under water, but the wool goes soggy.

Just a long shot,I know nothing about knitting except Benny wore a woolly cap, but what about El Corte Ingles?
Might be worth a phone call.
