Amber leaf is 6,30€'s for 50 g.All prices here;
http://www.cmtabacos.es/wwwcmt/paginas/ ... ecios.tmpl
Click on rolling tobacco then consultar precios.
My golden virginia went up from 4,85 to 6,75 €'s. Apparently the government want to get the price of handrolling tobacco in line with cigarette prices!
P.S The price for the tobacconist is the 1st column & the price in the 2nd column is the max. amount that can be charged by other outlets.

If ciggies here are a third of the price in Ireland, does that mean our life is only reduced by 20 minutes?

No, it just means that you reduce your life by 60 minutes for only three euros instead of nine!

Not that I wish to post on an old thread, but 100 gm of cigarette rolling tobacco - American blend is still €4.00. Brand name is called "Star American Blend."

That's correct - €4 for 100 gm. The tobacconist across from Hotel Mainake in Torre del Mar has oodles of it. I asked why it was so cheap. They have no idea.

Is this because it's not on the list of spanish tobaccos ?

Yep. It's the same stuff I got in Frigiliana a few months back. It says "American Blend" on the packet but it smells a bit pipeish! Mild taste though.

I don't roll my own. I use one of these machines and buy the blank tubes.
