Re: Civil Protection
Maybe post it under 'Living in Andalucia' - I think these latter topics are probably too far down the screen to be seen.
You can spend, minutes, hours, days, weeks or even months over-analyzing a situation; trying to put the pieces together, justifying what could've, would've happened - or you can just leave the pieces on the floor and move the f**k on.

Hi,
If you "view active topics" then you will pickup the latest threads.
I'll catch my chum as he is in Civil Protection and get an answer........from what I've seem he does a bit of crowd control at town fiestas and poses for photos for the local paper

All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

See http://www.proteccioncivil.org/ for details of what they do ( basically what it says on the tin i.e protecting the public)

They are a voluntary organisation that are designed to supplement the paid professionals in the Police, Forestry Rangers, Mountain rescue, etc etc.
At home we have the Civil Defence and I believe its the same sort of organisation.

Re: Civil Protection
If by "home" you mean the UK, then you are behind the times as the UK Civil Defence Corps was disbanded way back in the 1960s.

Re: Civil Protection
The Civil Defence Association exists in UK - it is voluntary. My sister does some work for them.
They seem to deal with issues regarding disaster situations, scenarios such as - what would happen in the event of a major war- that sort of thing, I think.
