Where's BENIDORM?
Where's BENIDORM?
The person, not the place. I haven't seen him here recently - hope you're OK Gordon.
Re: Where's BENIDORM?
Irene....
Many Thanks for your concern, you are a kind and thoughtful 'Forum Good Neighbour'...
For awhile now I've felt that I've nothing of any worth or interest to contribute, so just 'pop in' a couple of times a week...to catch up...
I hope that you are now settled in and enjoying life...
Kind Regards,
Gordon..

Good to see you - glad you're OK
I know what you mean, I go very quiet at times, too, then suddenly feel chatty and rattle off what in my case are no doubt inane rambling posts lol.
I always enjoy what you have to say, so don't stay too quiet!

Re: Where's BENIDORM?
How interesting! I notice that there are (to date) 101 views to this post! Now then - does that mean lots of people are also concerned about you, Gordon, or are they hoping to be enlightened as to exactly where Benidorm - the place - is?
Re: Where's BENIDORM?
Irene,
I would think that it highly unlikely that so many people would be interested in my welfare..... ...
I would suggest that they may be planning to visit BENIDORM and enjoy the delights on offer there...
Regards,
Gordon.

I agree with Gerry, it will be you that people are interested in. I was joking about Benidorm, everyone knows where that is
Re: Where's BENIDORM?
I think the real reason for his absence is that he is creating his guide to Tapas (free of course this being Granada Province) folowing his epic recent completion of visiting EVERY establishment participating in the Loja Tapas Feria. First prize was a pallet? of Cruzcampo which will, of course, by now be long gone. Presumably La Barrica will be number one in your guide ?

Re: Where's BENIDORM?
Good Morning and Thank You for your kind thoughts and messages...
I feel humbled and very surprised that anyone even noticed my 'disappearance', I had hoped to just walk away quietly..
I have become very disappointed at the continual 'nit-picking' and general unfriendliness displayed by some members, especially to 'new-comers', who don't seem to be given a chance to prove themselves.
Please try and make the most of your time and spread a little sunshine, life is too short , make the most of what you have , whatever your circumstances.
My thoughts are with you, wherever you are..
Anyway may I wish everyone a good and safe day,
Regards,
Gordon..

Re: Where's BENIDORM?
What a nice thread about a nice person. It restores my normal good humour and makes me feel happy to have 'popped in'. Carry on spreading happiness. I like that. This crisis might outlive us all and I'll be blowed if I'm going to waste my life in being miserable. Glad there are others who also feel that way.
