Spring is coming

Postby gerryh » Thu Dec 20, 2012 9:40 am

Just got back from walking the dog and I noticed several almond blossoms.
Earliest I have seen them, usually don't see any until early January.

Same here. The crab apples, almonds, etc are in blossom and we have many wild flowers out. Yesterday was 18 degrees! Local oldies are saying it will be frosty in January ...

The weather really is unbelievably good at the moment - I read a quote from someone at the Malaga Weather Centre in Sur in English this morning which said it had been 24 degrees in Velez-Malaga on Tuesday, the hottest temperature recorded that day in mainland Spain. Looks set to continue over Xmas too, which will be nice for all those arriving for holidays.
