Any Avon Reps in Nerja or Near

Postby Dunflittin68 » Mon Feb 01, 2016 4:39 pm

Can anyone tell me if there are any Avon reps in Nerja/Torrox or near that area?

I am ordering Skin So Soft from Avon here in the UK for my daughter for when I go over to Spain to keep the mozzies away as she can't use normal repellants she is allergic. I am told Skin So Soft is good for keeping the little beggars away so I will be ordering it for both of us if I can when I get to Spain.

:D

Get the lass to try Nenuco colonia. It is for babies so is likely nit to cause reactions....other tham mozzies turning tail and leaving! Big bottle from Mercadona in the baby section, cheap.

Bacon sandwich scent in a spray might be useful in some areas.

I presume that's a NO then ! :( I know there are some reps on the Costa Blanca but it seems not on the Costa Del Sol.

As for spraying the scent of bacon sandwiches on her, she is vegetarian !

I'll perhaps tell her to try the Nenuco colonia then.

Dunflitten, you could become an Avon rep yourself, there may be a demand :D

Saw on Sky that the Zika virus could spread to the Mediterranean countries so lots will need to cover up. Perhaps lots of scaremongering, still no proof it affects babies, has been around since 1947 and only seems to have happened in Brazil. When you see all those open drains in the favelas!

I think I may have caught the Zika virus in Puerto Rico. Last day of my holiday I had really red, sore eyes. Put it down to forgetting sunglasses the day before but felt a bit off with back and leg pains. Thought it was just the long journey back and they do say symptoms are mild. Only got one bite and that was on my shoulder. There were notices all around the hotel in December and deet sprays available free at reception. Never saw any mossies and we ate outside every night and sat out on the balcony.

UK has announced that returners from affected areas cannot give blood for 28 days.

I've just been to the Extremadura Vaccinations Officer here in preparation for my trip to the Far East and he said that mozzies are attracted to perfumes so he advised all products such as shampoo, soaps, deodorants, etc to be fragrance-free. He also said that mozzies are attracted to bright colours so keep the clothing pale and neutral. Not sure if that's good advice, or not, but I'll be taking it anyway.

I forgot to say, I had a rash too, on my forehead. Not prone to spots but they came and by the time I got home a couple had started to turn a bit crusty. Was thinking of going to the Doctors but tried some Bentnovate and they disappeared. Luckily I have a fringe.

Gus, how did you guess I was old

Lavanda, probably true but I am not giving up my Dior and bright holiday gear for any pesky mossie  they do say they are attracted by just our breathing out

there are hundreds of avon reps in andalucia. My girlfriend is one, but we are in alhaurin, and work in malaga.

If you search on www.milanuncios.com or www.wallapop.es you will find them.
