You Cannot take more than €10,000 in cash out of Spain without declaring it.

Yes it is the law, pretty much standard throughout the developed world, some countries even have lower limits. Nothing go to do with which airline you fly. It is the same leaving or entering the country by train, car, foot, bike, boat or any other means.

The over €10,000 rule applies if you are entering or leaving the eu from an external company.

I cannot find any "law" about funds moving between eu countries. I appreciate that police and customs are within their rights to ask questions about any amount of cash held. To be clear, by law I mean that if you don't declare above a certain amount it will be CONFISCATED. So for example at UK border entry there's a sign that says if entering from outside the eu you have to declare cash over €10,000. Nothing about within the eu.

Spanish law stipulates that you are NOT allowed to take more than 10k Euros out of the Country In Cash undeclared.....if caught it will be confiscated and you will be liable to a hefty fine even if you can prove its all legit.
