Outlet selling E6000 Glue

Postby Dunflittin68 » Thu Dec 06, 2018 4:21 pm

Does anyone know where I could buy this glue which I have read is specially used for craft and Jewellery repairs? I have a pair of semi precious stone earrings and the claws have broken on the one earring and only 3 remain and the stone fell out. I would really like to glue it back in but I know after trying with other jewellery that most glues are not suitable for using with stone set jewellery as it sends the stone milky or grey in colour. I have read that jewellery specialists use E6000 glue but I have never seen any in chinese shops here. Does anyone know where I could buy it ?

Thanks everyone but I was hoping to get somewhere locally as the postage from Amazon is more than the product cost in most cases here in Spain

It’s free postage on Amazon Spain on any order if you spend €20 up front for Amazon Prime for a year - plus lots of other benefits.

No Sid i never said that. Lots of products including i phones are top quality but the Chinese stores in Spain do sell a lot of rubbish. Cheap made tools etc which do a job for light diy but last days if used by tradesmen. I would not buy any specialist products from them and definitely not a phone charger or similar.

Agreed, the Spanish Chinese stores sell nothing but crap, pure unadulterated crap. Don't confuse them with Chinese manufacturing bases, the same bases that produce most of our techie gear we like to willy wave about!

As for the OP's original question, I'd use a good 2 pack epoxy or even good old fashioned Araldite applied with a tooth pick for accuracy.

You are right, but I couldn’t resist it!

These crappy stores here do the Chinese no good as far as product reputation is concerned.

If you use a Chinese Huawei phone and use it to slag off their products, they’ll know about it because apparently they contain a spy chip which relays your information back to china!
