Buying a boat in spain

Postby Mikey-essex » Thu Jul 27, 2023 8:24 pm

Hi all,
Are there any local (spanish) websites where you would search to buy a used boat? Looking to get a Bayliner 285 if I find one for reasonable price.

https://www.milanuncios.com/barcos/
Be aware that if you are a resident the boat must be spanish-registered, and you must have a Spanish licence, both of which are policed by the maritime part of the Guardia Civil. Mooring fees can be very expensive.

Not just a license, but a Spanish certificate of competency at the relevant level.

Thx all, I have been looking and searching everywhere possible.
If the boat is brought to Spain from France (EU to EU) are there any sky high fees similar to imports from UK or USA or is that a little easier on the valet and all around?

Thx in advance
