We would like to replace our aging condensing tumble dryer, but I am struggling to find one that is 9 - 10kg with a humidity sensor and does not have a heat pump. As I believe they are not very efficient if the air temp is 4 - 5 degrees which it is in our utility room. Does anybody have a heat pump dryer in a cold environment and find it does work OK.
