And how can one say a society isn't practicing sexual equality when one of the biggest blokes I've met is called after his granny - Jose-Maria !!
I don't think Spain is seriously unequal for men and women - just differently. UK has inequalities too - so Brits have nothing to shout about.

believe me, jose-maria isn't named after his 'granny', nor would his female counter-part, maria-jose be named after her 'granpa'... this is a catholic country... Joseph & Mary ring a bell..?
