Bank Statement Folder

Postby Bongtrees » Sun Sep 18, 2005 10:27 am

In other countries I have lived in I have been given statement binders from the bank.

I have asked my Spanish bank who say they dont have them.

What do other use or if they have bank issued binders does anyone know the name in Spanish please.

TIA

Mike

Why dont you got to the local large supermarket and buy a box folder or something that will suit? they are full of them, could be what you need.

Judging from the number of slips and statements I get from my bank for every conceivable transaction, a very large box is needed!

Or the occasional bonfire.

Personally I use the on-line banking facilities where you can access your statement and print it out in A4 to file as you wish.

And me! It's many years since I've seen the inside of a bank!

Not all Spanish banks seem to have an on-line service - mine doesn't :(

My bank also seemed surprised that I should want to file my monthly statements anywhere.
Back in the UK, I found some pastel coloured plastic wallets, shaped like an envelope, with a press-stud fasterner. they are called "Snopake Polyfile DL" as in DL sized envelope.
They are perfect for the job. In the UK the stationery chain Partners sell them, for I think about 75 pence. Possibly an import opportunity for someone??

Plenty to be found in any of the newsagents shops here and for around 30p each. I bought one the other day locally.
