Spanish equivalent of ISAs

Postby alisonb » Wed Sep 28, 2005 10:59 pm

I believe that once we're resident in Spain although we can keep the cash ISAs we have in UK, we can't contribute any more, so is there a Spanish equivalent? Cajamar seem to have some sort of savings plan which advertises a figure of 40% in relation to tax - does this mean you can offset 40% of contribution against tax, or does it mean you don't pay tax on 40% of interest? Or are there any recognised tax efficient savings schemes in Spain?
