Motorbike Hire Andalucia

Postby nigel_t » Fri Jul 21, 2006 3:22 pm

I am looking for somewhere to hire a motorbike (NOT scooter) for upto a week at a 'reasonable' cost.

Does anyone know of a good, reputable place I can try who will not charge me the value of the bike to hire it!!

Last year I wanted to rent a Harley Davidson (because I've never ridden one) at 2wheel drive.com in Marbella, they wanted, 154€ per day for a Heritage softail with a limit of 200km free mileage plus 50 cents a km thereafter, the killer punch though was when they asked me for a security deposit of 3000€ Apparently it's not uncommon for them to be stolen and driven across the french border.
I've looked around since and my experience is that you can expect to pay 50-60-70€ per day for a decent bike plus insurance plus security deposit, good luck 8).

Try hispania-tours in La Herradura - I hired a large BMW bike for a client this year and they were great. A credit card was required as a deposit.

Hi sorry for the delay - I think it was a BMW 1200 and it was about 100 euros per day. The client was from Singapore and toured andalucia on it and he said it was great.
