This sounds sarcastic but that's why most estate agents advices buyers to get a lawyer to check paper work etc . :lol:

As Spanish lawyers are often incompetent that's not much help.

If that is your opinion but in mine the lawyer we received was very good and checked everything. Also please remember not to go with the lawyer that works within the estate agent company

I'd say you were very lucky Lindz, our one was totally incompetent, although fortunately our sellers were honourable, and I have yet to meet someone who is prepared to wholeheartedly recommend one.
