Links in messages
Don't think anyone has mentioned this, but before the change, when you clicked on a link in a message, it opened in a new window. Now it opens in the same window, and you lose the forum. I know you can click on "open in new tab" but I don't always remember

I was hoping that andalucia admin might have replied. I also find this a real nuisance. Perhaps there is an option to change this in the user control panel but I can't find it.
Over to you andalucia admin?

Re: Links in messages
An aside to this subject ... I have to confess I am finding this new format for sending a pm extremely confusing ... with too many options IMHO ... and even more confusing was that to the right of 'User Control Panel' it said (0 new messages) but when I checked there was a new message waiting for me!
Re: Links in messages
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It appears that the software developers decided not to make links open in a new window in order to achieve XHTML 1.0 Strict-validation. We have now made the forums change all links so that they will open in a new window.

Thank you very much!
Re: Links in messages
Thanks. I'm sure we can live without XHTML 1.0 Strict-validation, although I'm missing it already!

I thought XHTML 1.0 Strict-validation was one of life's essential ingredients.

Down here on the Costa you have to pay at least 70 euros for strict validation!
