Deleting p.m.'s and directing to threads here

Postby concorde » Mon Aug 03, 2009 4:02 pm

help please.
I've just received a p.m. and do't know how to delete it. My message box is 75% full but since i hadn't had a p.m. sincethe new look site I can't find a way to empty it.

Also how do I put on a link to a past thread/topic . i've tried copying and pasting the heading of the thread but it doesn't work.

many thanks

Hi Concorde,
Go to inbox........tick message you want to delete and in bottom right box select Delete Marked..Go
It will then ask you to confirm.

for posting a thread ......bring up thread and copy the browser box and past into your reply.

If you look in "About this Forum" thread you will also see loads of info.
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

Thanks Enrique, I am a numbnut at times. I should have used the drop-down menu to see 'delete'.
I also should have realised about copying/pasting the browser box

I do go around the house sometimes muttering ' I can't believe how thick I am' but only when there is no -one around to answer and agree with me. :)
