Well ... Katy and I have had a few exchanges some years ago and Barry and I didn't hit it off too well to start with. Julian and Frog both made me laugh but they've both been axed so that says a lot about my sensitivity, I guess.

I too am puzzled, I feel as though I am in a virtual reality reading some of the stuff on here, almost to the point that the only credible part is the love-in between Mowser and Katy...

Yes I was openly suspicious of a couple of recent new posts as too many of the words pointed to a reincarnation of an old nemesis but other than that what else has there been?

I had absolutely no time whatsoever for Julian, so I put him on "ignore", problem over, I'm not sure why people don't do the same if they have a problem. Plus it takes to two to have an argument, just ignore the person, they soon get tired of talking to themselves. Don't feed the troll! Frog certainly told it like it was, problem was he got banned from every forum he joined!

I agree, Frank - wish everyone felt the way you do, I miss Frog and Julian, I think the forum is the poorer without them. We need contraversial characters, although we do still have a few.

Irene - surely controversial characters are purely subjective to each forum user? I always wonder who people mean when I see these kind of comments.

Jool - really? Probably about a dozen immediately spring into my mind, past and present but perhaps that is just my subjective view.
