Re: Forum Upgrade
I think the new format is a great improvement- congratulations to all those involved.

Yes..The site looks as if it has just come back from the laundry...crisp and bright and well ironed..!

Well done! I thought it might be terminal.
Re: Forum Upgrade
Hi there,
As many have already noticed the forum has now been upgraded.
In the end we had to ditch the old theme (design look) as it did not like the forum software version upgrade that was absolutely necessary to do ( actually overdue) from a security point of view. We had to recreate our forum theme look again from the latest version of the standard theme.
So now is the time to let us know about any bugs or problems and we will see if we can fix them.
The removal of the blue zebra crossing to highlight those on-line is top of the list.

Re: Forum Upgrade
I appear to have lost some of my posts during the upgrade. I was really proud of passing the 5,000 mark but I noticed I had dropped back to 4,999 again so with any luck this post will take my back to the 5,000 milestone again
Update,
Yes it did.

Re: Forum Upgrade
Logout is a problem:
Username (containing logout) in top r.h. corner appears green on green, so invisible.
Quick links tab also rather non-intuitive....Not the onvious place to look for New Posts, Active Topics etc.
Should be more clearly titled, or its contents moved to a spot of their own.
Zebra: php usually brings up the Online stripe only in the top r.h. corner of a post, not all over.
Otherwise, looking good!

I get it OK on the iPad but it's still bad on the PC.peteroldracer wrote:Cannot read the yellow on sludgy yellow on the latest posts menu - at least on iPad.
Does anyone still have the blue bands for online status? I do, but it might be because of my Mod status.
We do seem to be getting there though and there are some improvements.
We have discontinued the Guru's Den and are looking at open access to the Amigos Lounge as it seems impossible to automate access based on post count.
The "report post" is working at last so that should cut down on all the PMs we get. Just to fill you in, if a post is reported it is flagged immediately in the thread so it's easy to spot and deal with.
It's been a busy day!

No seems to have gone, but gone completely, most other implementations of this board software do have some indication.Does anyone still have the blue bands for online status? I do, but it might be because of my Mod status.

Re: Forum Upgrade
Me too, still there.
And in the New Posts listing, there is text (forum sections) appearing as yellow on buff, not possible to read.
Logout - User Name - gone invisible again.
Think I must have caught you mid-tweak!
