Malaga Airport Smoking Room

On the "smoking" topic, I would like to congratulate Malaga Airport for retaining "the voice of reason" and continuing to provide a "Smoking room" in their departure lounge. This room does not affect any non-smoker. There is no need for them to enter. Well done Malaga Airport. I just wish airports in the U.K. would follow your sensible and reasonable example! Which is fair to all, including non-smokers.

I hate people who wear too much perfume or hair lacquer on the plane. I also hate being stuck beside a lardbucket who takes up my area. Larbuckets should pay for two tickets. I also hate it when they eat noisily. I also hate being stuck beside a moaning minnie who complains about smokers. In short - I hate most things about air travel.

I think you will find that smokers are now in the minority, except in third world countries!
I used to be on 60 a day, and you know what ex-smokers are like - 'zealot' doesn't come close!

Sleepily, I wake from my slumbers, shuffle off to the loo, go downstairs and make a brew. Then I climb the stairs excitedly and pass one to my dear wife lying in bed. I open the door onto our breakfasting terrace with my heart beating in anticipation. Sitting down , I look out at the views down over the village and the valleys. I listen to sound of the birdsong and smell the winter flowering fauna and think to myself "you've teased yourself long enough". So I have my first glorious ciggy of the day and think how lucky I am to have this pleasure. The start to the day would not be the same without it.
What thrill could non smokers possibly have to beat this?

Heard on the news this morning there are moves afoot to sell cigarettes in the UK from under the counter, to banish the weed from public view. I wonder if they will provide us with brown paper bags to hide the purchased goods in, rather like alcoholics in the back streets, hiding their bottles ?
