Motoring Museum in Malaga.

Postby Devils Advocate » Thu Mar 19, 2015 11:31 am

One of the lads has just come back off holiday from Andalucía and is raving on this. We've had a place there for 13 years and I'd never heard of it

Has anybody here ever visited it? I think I'll have to have a peep next month!

I know of it's existence. Been living here for nearly 11 years. Keep intending to visit it one day.
This bit sounds interesting:_
"Every Sunday at 12:30: 1, 2, 3, Let’s get started! Add music to your visit with the roaring of the most spectacular engines of some of the models of the Museum."

Cheers

I haven't been but some friends went and reckoned it was very good.

It's very good and very easy to get to. They had John Lennon's Rolls Royce there last time I visited.

Thanks guys. I think we'll go to this next month as we're going to have another couple of nights in Malaga anyway.

On google it looks about a 10-15 minute walk from Calle Larios where we'll most likely be staying again. Would you agree with that?

Thanks again

Closer to half an hour if you stroll along the sea front. If it was today 20 minutes as you would have to march on to keep warm. Also in same building is the new Russian art museum. That opens next week.

Thanks for that CK. It looked a bit closer than that on Google Earth but that's often the case, probably about as far as the bus station then?

It's 15 minutes from the station if you don't go near the coast!

It really is very good. Even non car-people like me and my mum loved it. BTW the John Lennon car is a copy.

Visited a couple of years ago - well worth it.
Only, slight, niggle was that there was nowhere to have a coffee inside

That's worth noting

Roughly how long to round?
