Which station should I select for arrival in Sevilla from Madrid? My rental apartment is near the cathedral. Renfe gives 2 options: San Bernardo and Santa Justa. I was going to select Santa Justa. Would that be the closest one?
Thanks

As you are staying near the Cathedral, it will be far better to get off the train at San Bernardo. exit the station and the tram stop is just across the road which will take you to Plaza Nueva which is about 2 minutes' walk from the Cathedral.

From Santa Justa it is quite a hike to the Cathedral, although there are buses into the centre they are not so easy to use as the tram and more crowded.

Much the same as immediately above. Note - if you go for San Bernardo, you change at Santa Justa for the short journey to S.B.

I agree with Trooperman on this. Get a cab.
Your train from Madrid will stop at Santa Justa, NOT San Barnado.
By the time you have waited for the connecting local train to San Barnado (which is all of 2kms away) you could be sitting in your apartment with your feet up enjoying a cuppa.

Okay, thanks all. I agree that we would prefer to just grab a taxi for a few Euros and be headed to the apartment. We'll be getting there around 2 or 3pm and ready for lunch.

Specially if you are taking heavy luggage, it's better just to go for a taxi.
I hope you have a safe journey and a great time in Sevilla!!

Heavy luggage? Good god no. I travel with backpack and a camera bag. Period. I'm going for 3 weeks. No need for heavy luggage. That's just silly when people do that.

Santa Justa definately. Then grab taxi.
