Postby andalucia » Fri Jan 27, 2017 11:45 am

Andalucia is full of cultural and gastronomic treasures, from Moorish castles to the best prawns in Spain. Some of these are, at long last, starting to receiving wider recognition, with international attention being focussed on our diverse landscapes, extraordinary monuments and unique culinary history.

Across the region’s eight provinces, each with its own distinctive gastronomy and historical delights, you can find a wealth of places to discover and dishes to sample.

We have selected ten unmissable experiences which we recommend that you check out when visiting Andalucia in 2017.

A bit of an advert for the Game of Thrones locations. I do agree about the castle in Almeria though, well worth a visit.

Maureenscot, do you know the opening time of the museum please? My husband was born in Douglas, so would be interested in visiting the museum. We visited Teba a few years ago, but did not go into the museum.
Thanks

When |I was there in September, it was open everyday but closed between 3pm and 4pm. Lovely place, but steep stairs. Wear sensible shoes. I take it you have seen the plynth in the village centre?
