Did you just make this up? As it is utterly incorrect, as the last line says they OWN 91% of their fleet!!!Lyric wrote:
Ryanair is completely different, they own practically nothing, everything is leased or bought in. The aircraft are leased, run until their first major check, and returned to the lessor, to be replaced by new ones. This keeps their maintenance costs to a predictable minimum.

It's what I believe, I certainly don't believe a Wiki clip with a reference being RYR's annual report.

An oblong is two dimensional. According to Isaac Newton, the earth is an "Oblate Spheroid". I doubt that O'Ieary knows that or even cares (like the rest of us).Flexo wrote:Well the Earth is not really spherical, it is oblong.
Can we please get this thread back to a sensible discussion about Ryanair, rather than your personal grudges.

No wriggle room.....the facts don't lie. Ridiculous and frankly ludicrous of you to suggest that Ryanair Holdings Annual Financial Report and statement to Shareholders is Fictitious...........Don't think Boeing would go along with the scam.

Re: Ryanair yet again!
All there planes are Boeing. Keeps the cost down to have one make and model. Also less engineers to pay.

I'm more a Fan than a Knocker, but .........
Website advises to arrive 3 hours before departure, but they continue to respond to enquiries by confirming desks will still only open 2 hours before departure so you can't go airside any quicker than the norm !!!!
What is the point of that ? What is to be gained hanging around in the departure area for an extra hour ?

Re: Ryanair yet again!
Nothing so 2 hours it is.
Re: Ryanair yet again!
The 3 hours is to ensure that you get through security in time if they are having a busy period. As you do not check in at a desk with Ryanair but go straight to the departure desk ( when it opens), you can be " airside" waiting and spending your money for up to 3 hours! On another day, you can be waiting in line at security for ages and only have a short time " airside".
Re: Ryanair yet again!
Out of interest how is it at Malaga airport these days! Getting their three hours is better just the two hours necessary. Anyone know!
