It rained on Wednesday for 3.5 hours in Malaga city. I blame Ryanair.

I believe Ryanair use Girona as a major european hub .... they must be watching this a bit closely!

Huge amount of cancellations tom due to the french strike. Over 200 including two family members. One going back to the uk and the other coming back to spain on the returning flight. Managed to get a flight on thursday but to east midlands .a flight to the original airport wasnt available until a week tomorrow!

Correct in thinking you cant claim comp for an air traffic control strike?

I'm looking forward to the day when hand luggage is restricted (and vigorously enforced) to 1 very small piece of hand luggage !

If we go back a few years that's how things were, the overhead stowages were open and were for hats and coats, possibly small bags. It is only in more recent times that they were enclosed and even later times that they were used for luggage proper.
I blame the low cost operators.
