weekend in Granada

can anyone help. i live in spain but have a mate coming over in january 4 a long weekend & we plan 2 spend it in Granada. Ive only ever been 4 days out so don't really know Granada that well. Any1 got any suggestions 4 a girlie weekend & where 2 stay in the centre..near the shoppin of course She's not really in2 historical or architecture

ooopppssss...4got 2 say, would prefer a typical spanish style hotel 2 a modern group hotel

There is sometimes in the Saturday's Irish Independent an article called 48 hours in............. A few weeks ago it was about Granada. You will find it at www.unison.ie/travel On the top right hand side with a drop down list of name of places to see including Malaga.

If your interested just in shopping and not culture - your'e probably going to the wrong place! - Shops shut at midday on Saturday, only one to be open is probably El Corte Ingles.
