Amazara Hotel

Does anyone here ahve any personal experience of, or Know of anyone who has personal knowledge of the "Almazara Hotel" in Rio Frio, standard of service, quality and style of food etc, thanks!

Only just seen your message - not been on these boards recently.

I have been told (and have no confirmation of whether this information is correct) that this hotel only opens for "events". There is a group of ex-pats who meet there every month or so I believe. I understand that nothing much happens there most of the time. When I was last down there I thought it looked pretty good and the swimming pool area is lovely. Suspect it is rather underutilised.
