New bridge near Beatriz Palace Hotel - Fuengirola

Does anyone know if the proposed new bridge across the river between the Beatriz Palace Hotel and the promenade in Fuengirola has been completed. Last time we were there it was promised but I understand from another site that work began last year. It would save the 'walk of death' along the main road. Many thanks.
