Huge estate agent Viva Estates is fighting for its life
I would be surprised if a Rabbit Hutch sold in Andalucia at the moment, the British media are haveing a field day here with Corruption headlines and tales of thousands of properties being illegaly built, and the local prosecutor going on record as saying he wants all the illegal builds demolished. leaving lots of home owners to take civil action against corrupt councils or dodgy solicitors and agents, good luck!!
From an ex Viva employee on another forum - says it all
Admin has removed a potentially libelous account that had been re-posted from another unnamed forum.
life with Viva

I think it was www.spanishrealestateforum.com.com forum then go to today´s posts and you will see it there....... Don´t see why listing it here is libellous as it was one ex employee´s account - ie personal experience.............seems more like censorship to me.....
There is another great one, www.juanpedroproperty.com - you need good sound for this one, a spoof real estate agent that one of the big boys is using as an example of what not to do and to go with them....guess who the agent is (no its not Viva) ??

Huge estate agent
Thanks for that Jools. What a fascinating insight
The past cannot be changed, but the present can be spoilt by worrying about the future
Not sure of the "ins & outs" but my understanding was the big sales pitch that was the reduction of fees from 7% to 2%Alpujarra wrote:Who in their right mind would give an estate agent 1,500 Euros up front just to list a property for sale?
Essentially they did reduce thier fees by this amount, but recouped the "loss" on "listing fees" etc.....
Buyers were touted that it was well worth listing the property at that price (especially with the largest bestest agency on the costa (LOL!)) in order to benefit from the reduced rate.....
