A family friend of mine asked me if there was in Andalucia a scheme like they have in the UK where a disabled driver can have part of the cost of a new car subsidised by the relevant authourity.
It could be that the taxes associated with purchasing a new car are waived. He is looking at retiring to Spain and asked me if I knew anythign which I dont hencethis post!!!
Does anyone know if the Junta or any other relevant authority in Spain assist registered disabled drivers with purchasing a car. Im not talking about a mobility vehicle, Im on about a normal car (automatic and very good access) for people without 100% mobility.
I will pass on any advice immediately.
Gracias

Ive heard of something similar, where part of the cost of a new car is subsidised. I dont know much more as the person who told me was a neighbour who has had enough of Spain and gone back to Bradford.
Have you tried the Junta of Andalucia's web site (in Spanish)???
Good luck with it, Im sure someone must know something.
