im looking to by a freezer from them but am unsure what will happen if it conks out in guarantee period as rather big to send back.

I have used them for a small purchase, but cannot speak for guarantee returns as I have not had a problem with the item
If you look on the likes of ciao.es you may well find user ratings published there.
BTW I'm surprised the "rude filter" didn't *beep* part of their trading name!

I think you will find that major items will be fixed under warranty by the manufacturer via an authorised local service company.

This certainly applies to TVs and most large appliances.
