Hurrah for that. Lets have some more good news. Even if it is only that the sun is shining again so I'm saving on heating costs.

More good news ... we had a 'fiesta' last night at Spanish classes and everyone bought a typical Christmas food. I took along home-made mince tart; lots of frutos secos soaked in brandy, get the idea? It was a success and the Spanish teacher took down the recipe. Don't know where she'll get the Atora, though, as my daughter-in-law sends it over. It's nice to teach the locals something as well.

ummm....frutos secos soaked in brandy sounds good...does the recipe work if you don´t have any frutos secos handy?

Yes. Just cut out the middle bit. Works a treat, especially in the freezing fog up here tonight. Cheers!

I notice the price of sunflower oil hasn't come down though. :x So much for running our cars on bio-diesel. Shame we can't fry our eggs in diesel oil.

Damn! I paid €1.59 in Supersol.
Diesel is still cheaper than Mercadona Sunflower, though.
