NEW - Non Resident tax declaration /payment
Re: NEW - Non Resident tax declaration /payment
I can't seem to find the definitive on this, forgive me please if I have missed it somewhere: how can one find out if our village catastral values have been revalued since 1994. Is there a web site I can check?

Check here:
http://www.juntadeandalucia.es/economia ... -12-08.pdf
from page 4 onwards. You need to look under the column headed 'Aplicación de la última revisión catastral'
This information is also included in the help file with the PADRE program.

So you apply 1,1% to obtain the base imponible. Don't forget separate returns for each person named in the escritura.

Thanks Beachcomber. Just filling and printing the forms now.
Just a couple of points: on the second page 'Ingreso' I will be taking the forms to the bank (caja) tomorrow with my passbook for them to make payment direct. I guess this is not considered 'cash payment' so I should tick E.C. adeudo en cuenta?
Should all sheets have an etiqueta attached?
I will take all copies of each form to the bank so I guess the cashier will stamp and return ours as receipts. Will the bank then forward the administración's copies to the Hacienda or will I have to do that?

Yes, tick the box 'E.C. adeudo en cuenta'.
In order to save etiquetas you need only attach them to the copy for AEAT and the copy for the bank. You will keep the other copies which will show either a row of computerised figures or the bank stamp or both.
The bank should send the copies for AEAT via their own internal postal system but I know of one instance with Cajasur where they were sent back by their central internal post service. The have the responsibility for this but if you cannot get them to accept the forms just drop them in at your nearest AEAT office.
It's academic really as the fact that you have paid is registered electronically on your file at the moment they zap the forms with the bar code reader. When I do my wife's three monthly IVA and renta there is not now even a copy for the tax office. You just need to ensure that you have receipted copies in case there is a query at some time in the future.

The bank copy being 'ejemplar para la entidad colaboradora'?

Re: NEW - Non Resident tax declaration /payment
Hi. I've been following this thread intending to complete my own 210 return. I have two questions: 1. Beachcomber is a legend, how does he know SO much!? 2. I bought my property last year so this is my first form for only part of 2008 - how do I calculate and show the pro-rata amount on the form?

Calculate the total number of days you owned the property during 2008 then divide the base imponible (box 4) by 366 and multiply by the number of days you have calculated.

Re: NEW - Non Resident tax declaration /payment
I think I'm there now with the form but as I now have to visit the tax office to get my stickers can't I pay there? Or do I have to go to the bank to pay?
Re: NEW - Non Resident tax declaration /payment
Yes unfortunately you have to then go to the bank to pay. Its all a bit time consuming! I was hoping to avoid all this by doing an online return but it turns out that for form 210 they dont allow you to pay online. So even though you fill in the form online you still have to go to the bank.
The only way I can see around all this is to get a gestion or similar person to do them for you but they end up charging you more than the tax itself!

Many thanks Jemol. Did you have any problem getting the stickers?

Re: NEW - Non Resident tax declaration /payment
Getting your stickers is usually the simplest part! They will print out a sheet of them while you wait. If you pick a quiet time of day you can be in and out in minutes.
Re: NEW - Non Resident tax declaration /payment
Why not simply ask your gestor to do this? You'll save the hassle and it'll only cost around €50.
Once it's sorted out, you can do it yourself NEXT year.

I take your point, life is too short!! Actually I've found an english internet company offering to do it for £19.95. I might give them a go.

You only need to apply for the stickers the first time. Once you are registered you can apply for more stickers online and they will send them to your address.
