tv programme woman with 6 kids moving to spain?

I remember years ago watching on tv a woman who gave it all up to move to Spain with her kids, 5-6 of them, drove over with all her stuff and done the house up herself, dealt with town hall etc, only had one or 2 rooms to live in with kids, then got roof done etc.
She had tremendous drive and motivation to succeed, does anyone remember this or know what happened, or remeber what the show was called, so i can try to look it up.

Not 100 pc sure but wasn't it A Place In The Sun? Certainly one of those type of programmes. If it's the one I think it is, she went on to buy another "ruin" , maybe another 2,to do up to sell. She seemed to do well and, as you say, she had the "get up and go". I too would like to know how she's doing. Probably worked her way up to a shiny swanky new villa............and good luck to her.

yes thats the one, she bought another ruin to do up.
I'll check the place in the sun listings but couldnt find it there before, tried "no going back" as well, but wasnt that.

Yes I remember her!! It was Channel 5 ´s "Dream Home Abroad" ....info is on their website and her name was Lynne Prior.
