Does anyone here know of patchwork material shops in or around Sevilla? Or a good online retailer in Spain?
Many thanks

Sorry, can't help you about Seville, but I always get my fabric from USA. Even with postage (works out at about 2 euros per yard), it's still less than half the price of Spain (or UK). If you like, I'll PM you some links to good American ones.

Hello Oliveview01,
Friend of ours does patchwork and she gets most of her supplies from Ebay, apparently a big selection available, probably worth investigating.
There does seem to be a big price difference in ordering off the roll or buying remnants.
What are you making, a quilt ? or smaller items ?.
Regards,
Gordon on behalf on Mrs Benidorm....

Hi Gordon and Mrs B
At the moment I am using up my assorted small pieces of material to make a throw for the sofa. I joined a local patchwork class, I am the only foreigner, the ladies there have made some wonderful things! The teacher sells material at 14.99€ per metre, I wondered if anyone here had a cheaper supplier!
I am not sure what my quilt/throw will look like at the end, if it is that bad I am sure the dogs will appreciate it

The American ones I use are:
fabricdepot.com
thousandsofbolts.com
virginiaquilter.com
equilter.com
There are loads of others, but I've personally used these (won't let me put 4 links - they're all www.)

Many thanks, I will go off to the library to have a look tomorrow!
Re: Patchwork/craft shops Sevilla?
Down stairs in the Plaza de Armas (opp. bus station) but very expensive, I get all my stuff on line, mainly ebay.
Re: Patchwork/craft shops Sevilla?
There's one in Dos Hermanas. Let me know if you're still looking and I'll check it out.

That would be lovely Liz, thanks.
At the moment I am making spectacle cases, for Christmas presents, 5 made, 1 more needed, at least they don't weigh much, so the postage will be ok!! I like to handmake presents if I can! Can't keep making woolie hats for the men though! Even if the past two UK winters have been freezing!! Men are a problem to make things for! Any sugestions?
