Disinfecting a pool??
We had to drain the pool for repair and at the same time as it is empty we have jet washed it ready to regrout some small areas. We have been told that we must disinfect the pool which I am thinking means treat with an anti bacterial wash before putting the new grout in. Our pool man said to use PH reducer for this ....has anyone else done a similar thing? thanks
If you're not living on the edge you're taking up too much room

The usual anti bacterial in any pool is chlorine.
When refilling the pool put in 10g of chlorine per cubic metre of water as it is filling.
That will disinfect the pool.
