I'd like to check if anyone else has had a REDUCED IBI bill this year?

That's right! REDUCED!

My bills since registering (properly) in 2007 have been in the order of 200 Euros, rising each year by a little bit to last year's 294 Euros. Now it's 117 Euros

My Town Hall must be well ahead in its deficit reduction process eh?

Seriously, does anyone know a reason for this? All the figures and reference numbers seem the same but with a small (and usual) rise in the base liquidable figure.

Hi Trooperman,
Don't rush to pay they may send out the correct bill in a few weeks.
Had one the other year,paid it straight away and then ten days later they sent out the correct bill and it was less, took thee months to get the first payment refunded.

Thanks, Stoker, but as mine has more than halved, I don't think it can be due to the largesse of the Town council. I'm sticking with Enrique's suggestion that it's a monumental ****-up.
