Hello,

Many thanks for the help regarding the FAQ for Model 210. Everything was very clear and the forms have been printed.

One last question remains: can we pay the amount online directly to the Treasury or is it beter to do this physically, ie. let our bank (Cajamar) make the transfer while we are in Andalucia next month? Do they give some kind of affirmation? Or a proof of payment?

Many thanks!

Hi tkarb,
Welcome to The Forum............ :D

Best to pay in Bank when you're over , they will give you one of the Forms back with Bank Date Stamp.

If you have a "Book" account then that will have a further record of the transaction, can pay in cash too.

Hi tkarb,
The Modelo/Form 210 is submitted one year in arrears ie upto December 31 2015 , for year 2014..........

So you don't need to do one yet............ :?:

Hi

I filled in a form for 8 months, so 8/12th of the amount.
Isnt payment in 2015 for year 2014? So next year for a full year.

H tkarb,
If you bought in April 2015 then your 8 months will be submitted in 2016 by 31 December of that year.

The only thing you have gained by doing the Forms this year is that you can do them...........

If you "Saved" your Data then all you have to do next year is change the date and adjust the Figures because the Tax has gone down.

No problem. English is not my first language and I see now that my message was prone to misinterpretation :-)

Anyhow, we will let our bank make the payment!

I note from posts that deadline for paying IRNR for 2014 at a Spanish bank is 31st December 2015. Is this also the case if you pay Agencia Tributaria using an electronic certificate/digital signature?

Un saludo cordial

Just a quick post of thanks to Beachcomber, Enrique and the contributors to this thread in general.

A year ago to the day I was bugging this board with questions as I prepared to pay my very first 210 for non-residents. Well a year has passed and I have just revisited this thread for the first time since then to help me complete my second 210. All has gone smoothly with generating the form and I shall be paying it in cash in early December.

The only uncertainty is that I am assuming no change to my Valor Catastral from the one on my 2014 IBI bill (received in May 2014) since I received no such bill in 2015. But the IBI direct debit for 2015 was practically the same as for 2014 so I think I'm on safe ground.

It is great to see that the regulars here are keeping up with the changes coming in 2016 and beyond and I for one am extremely grateful for this.

Very many thanks again. See you in 2016

Torrox_campo wrote:Ah now I begin to understand. So the form 210 is to declare any income generated from the property and without any income generated you still have to pay some tax based on your catastral value. Is this correct? And so if you have some income generated from the rent of the property, how is this additional tax calculated? By percentage of amount of income?

You pay normal income tax on any "real" rentals and imputed tax on the rest. It is prorated, so if you let it for 6 months you only pay half the imputed tax.

OK, time to bite the bullet & complete the Renta ! Last year, I did a 210 for both me & my late hubby, and just made one payment to cover both. This year I'm wondering if I can get away with just doing one 210 for the whole amount, just in my name. Any advice ?

Hi chrissiehope,
I'd just do one for whole amount, assume you have removed your late Husband's details from the AEAT by now........ :?:

I have in the past only done one for the Whole amount.

Hi Enrique - no, I haven't removed his details yet  , as the paperwork to add new owners has not been completed (only been waiting six months for the final bit  )

Anyway, I now have another problem ! Tried to access AEAT site only to be told I meeded to update Java. So I duly tried, and eventually managed to download the file, and then attempted to install it, only to get an error code 1619. Went to the Java help page, where I found lots of error codes but none with this number

I have tried it using both IE8 & Firefox (tho' I have got both open at the same time - would that matter ?) and XP 3, but it doesn't want to play..... what's my next step ?

OK - I've finally managed to get Java installed, and have logged in to AEAT, downloaded last years form, & changed the relevant bits. It now wants an 'NRC' and for the life of me I can't remember how I got this last year. It won't let me validate, and I think I might have made a payment already, but I'm not sure about that  . I have saved the file, so hopefully if I get logged out I should be able to get back in once I know how to get this flippin' NRC 8)

Hi chrissiehope,
Thinking out loud here.............

Don't you need to get on to your bank and in the section on paying taxes get the NRC number from there :?:

Once you have cracked it get the procedure updated in the FAQ's....thanks

Good that you got Java (latest version 8 :?: ) running on XP SP3 as its not supported.

Make yourself a Memo to get updated Computer just to deal with the latest Sites, so you can do things remotely.

That's a good suggestion - I filled in my bank details, and took a screen shot of the response I got basically sying I was going to send info and to confirm it. I will log in to my bank account & see if there's anything there..

Java - I found I still had an old version on the system, so I uninstalled it & rebooted, then tried again with the exe file I had previously downloaded. Apart from the fact that Java doesn't seem to identify itself on their website, it all seems to be OK (touching any piece of wood I can see  )

Re an updated OS computer, I'm putting it off as long as I can, as the software I use won't be compatible, I'll probably need updated versions or even have to buy the latest (which I suspect will cost a lot  ) I'm also concerned about work done with my current programs, and if I will be able to access them with new software.... :problem:

Edit: just checked the bank account - nothing there... now what - have I paid or not ???

Hi chrissiehope,
I did say to use the "new" computer for stuff like what you're doing now and keep XP system for your "old" software.

Fair enough !

Back to the 210 - it rejected my attempt to pay - error code 0433.
There is a box that says "Pago con apoderamiento en la cuenta del obligado" - should this be ticked ? Edit: answer no - I've just translated it & it means you are paying on behalf of someone else !

So what is error code 0433?
