Buildings Insurance

Postby von1068 » Tue Dec 08, 2015 1:27 pm

I seem to recall a thread on this recently but can't seem to find it.

Who is the best to use? Am I right in thinking you can get cover from a UK company or was I dreaming ......

This will be for a permanent residence not a holiday home.

Cheers
Y.

Ooops sorry, that would help wouldn't it

A cortijo initially and then a new built barn/stables.

Hi von1068,
A recent Thread...................

http://andalucia.com/forums/viewtopic.p ... ce#p337993

I'd go and get a quote from El Cid's recommended firm.......as he lives out in Spain, for a start.
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

I use Linea directa have done for a few years I think you can only judge insurance companies on how they act when you have claim, I have had 5 claims with Linea directa 1claim was not accepted and when it was explained to by there claims department I agreed with them, the other 4 claims were all settled by them and is was done very professionally brilliant service. But as with all insurance companies they can change in a flash but that's the insurance business
