State Pension in Spain

Someone posted on FB that the state pension in Spain can be as much as £513.
Is that right?

Yes. For 2017 the maximum state pension payable would be €2,573 per month. However, to achieve that a pensioner would have had to have paid social security contributions at the highest possible rate and have been earning a high salary.
