Unfortunately, the sub €40 seats are sold out but I and Mrs 1bl are considering it. Although the site can be switched from Castellano to English, it doesn't seem to point out which seats are for England supporters. Just in case I shout "¡No hay manera de que el gol deberia sido anulado! de Gea chocó sobre Wellbeck." and get some dirty looks.

Is there info on fan segregation, perhaps on the FA site? Otherwise, I could stick to wearing red and go into dispassionate observer mode.

Buy tickets from the link I posted above and you will be seated among the Spanish supporters who i'm sure will not kill and eat you and your good lady for cheering on England if you wish to do so. :)

At least you won't be near those daft bu**gers with the drum & trombone etc playing the theme from the great escape for 90 minutes

I had a quick look at the FA website, where the tickets were only on sale 25-28th Sept. Hard to tell, but it looked like seats in the grada de norte, sur and fondo areas were available. The segregation arrangements, if any, were something I wanted to check out mostly because I didn't want to walk up a staircase and be rugby-tackled by security thinking I was an infiltrator bent on setting off a bit of aggro. I have never been to an England match abroad, and the tv tends to leave images of escorted-from-station-to-stadium in the mind (not so recently, admittedly). The FA price was £23, so either they got a good deal or Real Betis officials have heard Great Escape too often themselves and allocated them the far-away-as-possible section.

Glenn Hoddle's idea. He heard them at Sheff Weds and got the FA to pay for them to follow England games, 'cause everyone likes the vuvuzelas, kettle drums and a bit of French coq, right? Being in Malaga province, do you have any idea if parking at the stadium is possible/affordable, biri? I've been to Sevilla a couple of times and found the odd spot, but I'd probably never find it after the match. Mrs 1bl's tight hold on the debit card is unusually relaxed and she's more "let's do it" than even I am. I have to agree with Al, I'm not expecting to stifle too many English goal celebrations but Spain's my #2 so that's not a problem.

I'm a season ticket holder at Sevilla fc, so I'm not one for visiting the "other" stadium, this will be my 1st visit.
There wil no doubt be street parking close to the ground if you get there early enough, or you can do what i'm doing which is parking in my usual place under the Hotel Novotel Sevilla (access via the entrance on Av Eduardo Dato) it shouldn't cost more than 8€ for 5-6 hrs.
This is a huge, secure underground car park for the Nervion shopping centre directly in front of Sevilla fc where there is always plenty of space even on Sevilla fc match days.

Another option is the Los Arcos shopping mall car park close to the cruzcampo brewery, you will see it on your way into Sevilla. Parking here is free but I'm not sure how long you can have.

Then it's a short 10min taxi ride to the home of Betis from either option.

Maybe the chance to visit the numerous retail outlets in the Nervion centre before the game could sway your mrs even more to the idea.
Good luck

My downstairs vecino and his Mrs have just returned from a long holiday in North America. He's expressed a lot of interest when I mentioned it so could be 3-4 of us making the trip. He's got a flash car, but I'm happy in mine if they are. I'd have to look into the okay-ness of leaving as late as >11pm and, if I go in my diesel lugger rather than the petrol town car, my roof box (which I can't be bothered to take off) making the height just over 2m. I made a scrunching noise driving through the vehicle shades in Maxi Dia car park before I realised what was causing it  Shopping etc is a no-brainer for that length of trip. Just occurred to me; my petrol car needs a spare key (China via eBay) programming and Euronics in Sevilla are the nearest peeps that definitely confirmed they can do it. Everyone squeeze in the 1.4 petrol!
